Blogging in class

can be real fun!! Currently, I have Mr. Chee Hock Wah teaching lecturing talking shit in class. Obviously not everyone is listening. See? I'm less than 2 weeks away from my Bangkok trip. Mummy asked me how much I want to exchange for Baht. I told her S$300. Is it too little?? Advice please, from people who are experts. Especially Nana jie. Anyway, this week and next's gonna be damn busy due to the fuckernnoying common tests. And after common tests, I'll be away for 4 days. Then I'll be back to reality where only presentations and exams exist. Shit! The school's timetable is screwed up man. Year 3s have no life! I wish I were a Year 3 with just the workload of a Year 1. Juniors, you haven't seen anything yet! Stop complaining! By the way, did anyone watch Superband on Monday? Why the hell is Xia Suay Feng aka Summer Storm still in the competition!?!? OMG! Are they erm... the least bit good? Hmmm... The results show was really edgy for Brods. They almost got kicked out. If I were to choose 1 group to be eliminated, I would have gone for the group that got the lowest grade every week! XRSF fans, I'm sorry you guys have to spend so much money on voting for your idols. I wonder if you guys can claim the money back someday. Shit! That was mean. I can be meaner if I had to. Alright. Class dismiss.

Random updates #2

I've got loads of updates to fill you guys in. Bear with me. How I eat Teddy Biscuits Not too sure who has eaten this before. But it was my favourite when I was a kid. I would always bug my mum to buy it whenever I see it in 'mama' shop. So here you see the full biscuit, right? This is what I'll do. Head first! Then I'll slowly chew off limb by limb and finish the tummy up in 1 mouth. Yan Yan is addictive I wonder how many of you realise that the new Yan Yan (actually not so new already) has words written on every biscuit sticks? The interesting is, they don't have lucky 4 digits. Instead, they have words like... Seal... Loves to sun tan. When I first noticed the words, I didn't really bother reading them. But just a few days ago, I felt bored and started copying whatever I saw on these sticks. I have a list of them. Anyone interested to find out more? Art class? A few days back, my tutor wanted us to be creative and draw her something as part of the class discussion. Nothing much to talk about though. Just enjoy our masterpiece. Creatively done by Me, Syahriah, Su Lian and Victoria. Sweetie boy and a puzzle Baby drew a Find-the-word for me. Can you see what's this? Dinner @ The Line Right. My mum got some dining vouchers at The Line at Shangri-La Hotel so we dined there last friday. I heard that it cost $68+++ per person for dinner there. Woah! It was buffet style though. If you can eat, then not 'lugi' lor. Otherwise, just wait for free vouchers. Haha! Lasagne Lasagne, Chicken in thai chilli sauce and Chilli lobster. Fishies. The fillets and salmons were simply delicious! I liked the one on the top of the pic. Some fillet in mango sauce. Fake sharksfins. Or maybe the sharkfins all taken by others already. Raw octopuses? Erm... not mine though. Baby wanted to try it. But nope, not to his likings. Chocolate fondue! That's marshmallows covered in chocolate, by the way. Mocha ice cream with almond shavings. Fantabulous! Some cakes. Cheese cake on the right. Sedap! Tiramisu! Damn good ok! The best I've ever eaten. That's all for the photos. I forgot to take photos of the first few dishes because I was too hungry. =X Sorry for the bad quality. Xinyu's full month celebration Xinyu is my cousin's new born daughter. We celebrated her full month yesterday at her grandma's place. Adorable, isn't she? Pretty small too. 1 week ago, we celebrated another baby's full month. My other cousin's baby boy, Josh turned 1 month and 8 days old yesterday. That's him. He's pretty big for a 1-month old huh? If you realised, Xinyu is the baby in the background. =) Talking about babies, how can I forget this lovely yet mischievous rascal? The soon-to-be big baby Kaikai is turning 2 this September. He's learnt how to call people already. Awww... One of his first words were "Jie jie". Hee. That's all for my random updates.

This is life I guess

Today, I'll be attending my baby nephew's full month celebration at my cousin's house. Then I'll be attending my Grandaunt's wake probably in the evening. Is this what people say "A new life is born and another life is gone" ?

My 1st field trip in so many years

The very last field trip I had was most probably in secondary school. On thursday, I had another chance to experience another field trip. Haha! Sounds very kiddy but it was fun having friends around. But it will be better without some tutors around. Frog and Bear. Eeeeww... So anyway, the field trip today was to National Library (NLB) and Changi International Airport Services (CIAS). First, we headed to NLB for a short tour. We made some fantastic discoveries at the Education section. Hakim found the Pets Worksheet! Then I went to search for Pets Coursebook. Only a few were found. I also found Higher Chinese for Primary 2. Haha! The Pets Coursebook right, got bird, squirrel, bunny, monkey, mouse and turtle! But I can't remember which order they are in. Just remember that after each year, me and my classmates will be guessing what is the next animal and what colour the book would be. And there would be the respective animal on every page of the book and we all used to challenge see who will find them first. Awww... those memories... Other than that, the books there were boring. We had lunch after the tour. After lunch, we assembled back at NLB. While waiting for the other class, we took a photo.

This photo is damn precious ok? The 4 of us used to be in a group! But Sulian got switched to another class. Now Carol's in another class. With "Jappies". Wahahaha! Poor her. What a group of jappies. Ha!

We reached CIAS soon after. Settled in an auditorium for a talk on how CIAS handle their daily work. I forgot most of it already. The speaker was quite humourous la!

"We will clean the interior of the planes before each flight so that the passengers will feel comfortable. If the plane not clean, means is done by the competitors." Haha. Not funny eh? Ok then they brought us on a short tour to their kitchen area where the food is being stored, prepared and transported to the planes. We were made to dress like this.

Look like cleaning ladies? Carol is not with us. Her class went to DHL instead.

My group in Year 3, TT01.

It's been a long time since I had new photos in my phone so yup, just wanted to take photos. After the tour, we had refreshments. The people there prepared cakes for us. Yummy ones! But the yummiest chocolate cakes were gone before we knew it. Everyone dashed out like they were starving. So I had some fruit cake which I had no idea what fruits were on top. Taste like pineapple and peach and mango and orange. To sum up everything, the field trip was fun just because I had my friends with me. By the way, I'm going to Bangkok on 12th June. My mum is going Europe on the same day. I'm going for 4 days. She, 12 days. 同人不同命啊!

2 weeks is all she's got

Initially, I wanted to blog about the field trip I had today. But that can wait. Today, my Grandaunt passed away at 5.12pm after 2 weeks of struggle with stroke. Now, we have to face the difficulty of letting my Grandma know she's gone.

Not say I want to be mean lah

But hor... Why the fuck is 夏日风 still in Superband? They deserve to be eliminated simply because... - they cannot sing (especially the girls! Don't you get 周崇庆's hint??) - they cannot dance (just look at them argh!) - it's a torture for non-夏日风 fans to see and hear them (that's because most of their fans are well, deaf?) <- No offence to disabled people. I'm just saying their music is awful! - it's a waste of time (they get the lowest score each week yet won't get eliminated just because they are from some 'party' and this 'party' is ridiculously rich and don't mind spending the money on votings) - it's a waste of space on stage. Their staying put means better bands will be eliminated. Is that even fair? - the guys sing alright. They can sing better with some practice. But big NO to the girls. (许环良说:你们能来到这里真的是有缘分) I add: BUT no 天分! - getting the lowest score from the judges every week. (Now, what's the use of the judges, somebody tell me?) Now even to the extent of failing! 19/40! This competition is getting tougher each week but their performance is getting worse. I really don't understand what is happening! Even my mum feels this competition getting a lil too unfair. Right after the results were announced. 12am. Lucify eliminated. Summer breeze stayed. Mummy: (super worked up) Can complain or not huh? Me: I think got a lot of people complain after tonight's results lor. Mummy: Huh! Now can complain not? Now can call in not? Me: Later you see whether they got give some email or website lor. After seeing www.superband.com.sg appearing on tv, Mummy: Eh! Faster! Go that website and complain leh! They get in is kelong (cheating) one lor! See? My mummy also know how to get hot ok!

I cried my eyes out

Eight Below (official website) was very very upsetting. 8 dogs left alone out in the snow for 175 days because the plane had insufficient space for them and the storm was too bad for any to fly back to get the dogs. So throughout these 175 days, the dogs had to fight for survival against the cold and hunger.

2 died. 1 injured. This was more than enough to make me tear for 1 whole hour. This show was a remake of a japanese film, Nankyoku monogatari, which had 15 sled dogs initially but only 2 survived. I bet that film would have made me cry even more. Anyone wanna watch it just let me know. I've got it the movie downloaded. But remember your tissues if you are a animal lover.

I wanna watch Eight Below freaking badly!

Damn! I wanna watch this show so badly! It has got to be one of the most touching shows I've ever watched (but haven't) and definitely one that I'll cry most. I teared while watching the trailer. Damn touching. The huskies are so pretty! Baby huskies are cuter though. Ha! Watch the trailer. It's got a rating of 9/10! Must watch! And Paul Walker is so cute in this film.

3 unpleasant news

There were news from my mother that my Grandaunt is in a coma due to a stroke. Next, I heard another news that my cousin's girlfriend's dad died in a car accident in Shanghai. Then I read Kenny Sia's post on his dad's 1st anniversary. 3 news in a day can be a great blow. But life still has to go on, strongly. I pray for my Grandaunt to get well soon.

Life as a year 3 student

Lunch today was pathetic. The 7 of us, Joey, Sam, Daryl, Hakim, Syah, Sulian and I had to da-bao our lunch because the canteen was overflowing with students. It wasn't the first time the canteen was packed, but it was the first time in 2 years of my poly life I've ever seen it this packed. Minimal walking space; very long queues; no spare seats; new faces. I was sure more than half of these canteeners were year 1s. So as we da-bao-ed our food and settled at the study area, with the 7 of us squeezing a bench, lunch was especially quiet. Then Joey made a comment. "Is this the life of a year 3?" This sucks.
