Sometimes I wonder is it because I haven't been crying for a long time, when I do, I just can't stop.

I'm bored, just too bored
Everybody, kindly do this for me ok?
See my title?
Yup, that's why.
Thanks.
*Updated*
I was still wondering where I heard this Johari window term before. I realised I learnt it in school! Thanks to LMS which stands for life management skills, I think.

How was your valentine's day?
Like I said, v day is nothing special, I spent it by playing pool with my boy and his mum, and went shopping after that. Just like every other day.
A few days before Chinese New Year, I was out with Beibei, Weiliang and my boy at Kbox. Weiliang left after awhile and the 3 of us went shopping for CNY after that. My clothes are limited (they still are) so I had to buy new clothes, otherwise I'll end up wearing something too common or something too old. We stepped into U2 at PS and saw a sale going on. You know the thing about sales, every lady sure to get excited over it. I guess I was over-excited.
I hardly buy anything from U2, except from online, nor have I ever really stepped into any U2 outlet. When I saw their tank tops going at 2 for $20, I thought it was rather cheap. And their colours are definitely nicer than giordano's. I bought 2 then. Beibei bought some other tops as well. To date, I have 6 tank tops of different colours from U2.
Scary, I know. The purple and orange were newly-bought. There goes 60 bucks. By the way, the 3rd one from the left is supposed to be blue! But my dad mixed his dark pants with the light clothings, my top was ruined by it!
Shopping ended and I didn't get what I needed. Girls.
The next shopping trip was held when I met Beibei at town after school. We were at Taka where I saw this top that I loved at first sight. Freaking nice!
It is very fitting I thought it was meant to be mine! Hahaha but it cost 49 freaking bucks. I haven't got my ang bao money then so I was considering whether to get it not. In the end, I left the shop without getting it and I regretted it the whole CNY! I couldn't get any top to match my pants!! I even asked Leen to help me search for other outlets on CNY eve so I could go down to get it since Taka closed early and I was in the east area. Argh!
This top is so nice that Beibei, my boy, my sister & mother (!!!) and Nana jie agrees with me. Right?
My point is, my v day was spent on shopping and eating. So after getting my ang bao money, I was so determined to get the top. Whether there's occasion or not, I'm getting it.
And yes, I finally got it! The colour looks funny in this picture due to my bed comforter. Personal note to Beibei: Yeah!! I got it le!!!
And I know it's seriously too late to talk about CNY. No mood to go through the whole process. And I'm not interested to reveal how much I've gotten since I've spent about 1/3 of it already. Arh!!!!!!!
Stop spending money, bitch!
Meanwhile, some photos to post.
I was bai-nian-ing at my boy's place. His relatives dropped by for dinner and I managed to see Kaikai after so long. He's such a big boy now! Don't be mistaken. He's not crying. He's trying to smile smiling!
Nah, he's not whining. He's still trying to smile smiling.
And this is Jovan, my boy's nephew!
Arhmmm...
Mum ummuumm mmm...
Jovan, look here!
Boo...
Ok, I have a weakness for babies.
I can't be more glad than having NO MORE projects now! I'm like so relaxed already. School is about to end, study breaks are coming, so are exams. But after the exams, I'm gonna get my room painted! I've waited so long!
The freaking projects are stressing me so much for the past weeks. And everything sort of went well. Just a few photos of my class after our presentations.
I like this photo. And I've only recently realised how skinny my legs are. I swear I didn't have a clue about it.
Candid? Nah, it's natural.
Very nice! Find any girl or guy cute, just drop me a message ya?
This is candid.
We had another presentation the next day.
I suggested the girls switch places with the guys, that is we stand on chairs and the guys remain on the floor or they look too tall on the chairs. But my tutor is so tall, she could just mix with the guys. =)
Let me explain about this pic. Carol and I were pointing at somebody and making funny faces. But it wasn't taken nicely.
Back to v day. I don't like flowers. I think that girls like to receive flowers because every other girl is getting them. I used to think that receiving flowers can be romantic. But they aren't practical. Like how I tell my boy about not getting me flowers, my logic was:
I'm making an investment. Save the money for buying flowers. Next time, get me diamonds.
Anyway, it's time for bed and I gotta start studying when I wake up. While some of us hate v day, I hoped the others enjoyed it.

Because I'm too lazy
or rather, too cheapskate, or maybe because my mobile is left with only limited battery level, I cannot not wish everybody
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
through this pathetic little space of mine. I still think there's not really a need to have v-day since it's so artificial. Bleh! But I'll be out today, with my boy and his mum! We aren't celebrating v-day. Just having a few games of pool and see how the plan goes.
Ok, that's all for now. Gotta get ready now.

What is happening to this world?
Note: I'm not being rude in this entry or discriminating against the elderly and definitely NOT a sexist thingy here. Men and women are NOT equal when people always argue that we, women, can be treated equally as men in the society. Yes, maybe. But that's not the point here. Women can be equal as men in this society. But maybe not physically equal. Women has no penises, do they? Unless she's a she-male. Too bad for them. What a big digression.
So anyway, I was watching the news a few days back on these group of korean grandmothers, aged from 60+ to 70+, learning karate. I saw them breaking pieces of porcelein plates (not the ones we use to put our food. I call them plates cos I don't know what are they are really called.) 5 at a time and I was shocked! I mean, can Singaporean grannies do that? My grandma can't, I know that. It's amazing to see these korean ah mas learning such thing as a form of leisure or self-protection.
Then I was at Chinatown with my boy and my mum on Saturday. We saw this uncle, aged around 70, walking around Chinatown. Not big a deal ya?
He wore a fucking dress!
Now how's that sound? Big deal? He didn't just wear a dress. He wore high heels, carried a handbag, wore accessories and had a pair of dark shades on. His outfit was mainly red, thus the attraction. No wig, though. He was almost botak and his facial hair was unshaved. I don't know. Is that the 'in' thing? Everyone was staring at him, mocking him. He walked around like nothing was wrong. I'm not mocking him here. I didn't even take a photo of him to put it up here. If I did, I'll be very rude.
For a moment, I found what he did was hilarious. But I felt guilty after that. No one knew what he was thinking. He could be a lunatic or a fucking gay, for all he cares. But seriously, he's a walking-joke and it worried me to see people like him, especially someone his age, in public. People like him just bring stares. Where are his family members?? I mean, imagine your grandfather doing the same thing. You won't be pissed, you know? Instead, you'll be very worried about his mental health.
Sorry, I digressed again. My point is men and women still has their differences. Like men cannot wear skirts. It's weird. The thing is, the world seems to be changing. Take the old man in a dress and the grannies learning karate for example. Man = woman?
Like that... can men help their wives give birth in future? Women, on the other hand, can skip NS because it's really not a women thing to go through such a thing.

Thank you and have a nice day!
Before I start blaming the taxi companies for being inefficient on helping in-need-of-cabs-urgently callers get a cab or taxi drivers for not appearing at places where they should be and when they should be or my place is too 'ulu' or all three together, I should blame it on my oversleeping sickness.
I bet everyone likes to steal a couple minutes more of sleep every morning before work or school. I like it too. However, my couple of minutes will just lead me back to a deep sleep. The next time I wake up, it will be an hour later. Thus, late for school.
BUT
I'm always very late for my thursday class at 9am. Not that I'm not late for other first class of the day, I still am. But thursday 9am, java class, I can never fail to be late at least 15 minutes. I have been late for 30 minutes when the lesson is only an hour long. I've missed quite a number of morning classes till I get a warning letter informing me not to skip another.
I set 2 alarms but they can't really wake me up fully. All I do is snooze them and goes back to sleep. Snooze and sleep and the cycle goes on for another 5 times. The alarm clock will then get so frustrated that it turns itself off. Weird.
So I tried to get a cab from downstairs, but they were mostly occupied or on call. I tried dialing for a cab instead. Their operators were all so busy I could only get through at my 4th attempt. Very nicely, the operator asked for my name and location and destination. Then she told me to hold on, while she searched for a cab for me.
While I was tuned in to the modern yet classical music, I was hoping I could hear a taxi number after awhile. All I could was:
Recorded operator: There are no cabs available. Press 2 if you want us to continue searching.
(Pressed 2)
Annoying music...
Recorded operator: There are no cabs available. Press 2 if you want us to continue searching.
(Pressed 2 again)
Annoying music...
The whole thing repeated itself like 3 more times before I heard this.
Recorded operator: Sorry, but there are no cabs available. Press 0 if you wish to speak to our customer service operator. Press 9 if you wish to end this call.
I could have hung up, but no, I pressed 9. And I heard
Recorded operator: Thank you for using Dial-a-cab. Have a nice day!
I almost slammed my phone on the ground! Fuck man. You can't get me a cab and you expect me to have a nice day? Nice one!
I dialed again and the same process went on. Sometimes I just have no idea why I have to do things to agitate myself despite knowing the consequences. Shit!
Class was at 9 right? I got onto a cab at 9.20am. Great! I was just in time for the presentation though. It went well. No more java nightmares anymore. Had enough. It's time to start studying. I MUST STUDY!!
Please excuse me while I go get my nails done study.

Food Glorious Food
Ok, maybe not so glorious. Apart from the sumptuous meals during CNY, I had spent quite a bit on food even before getting my ang baos. I'm starting to get sick of abalone and shark's fins, unless they are the super best grade, high class restaurant quality kinds. I was refering to canned abalone. Sick!
I prefer having simple dishes like sweet & sour fish (the one my ah ma cooked, the best!) or just a simple steamboat. I can do without 'statutory' food, honest. Cos, one, I'm not any daughter of a bloody rich businessman and two, neither do I find those food delicious compared to the chicken rice at Lucky Plaza.
So just a few photos to show, in case my blog becomes too dull and quiet due to the post cny sicknesses I have and stress in school work etc.
Just a day before CNY eve, my boy and I wanted to eat something good (good here means anything but food court) so we decided on Pastamania. Affordable and filling.
Prawns & Shrooms lovers alert! Best pasta for you if you really really like mushrooms and prawns! I swear, the prawns are damn fresh!
Add cheese and you're ready to dig in.
Don't like pastas? Go for pizzas then. The hawaiian pizza at Pastamania is a wee bit smaller than Pizza Hut or Canadian Pizza but the cheese is nothing but AWESOME! Oh gosh!
Super tempting can? Like cheese? Go for this!
Then a few days later, my boy and I dined at Sakae Sushi for lunch and then Secret Recipe for dinner. Close to a hundred bucks just for two meals in a day.
No photos for Sakae Sushi. You can see the same thing at any sushi vendor. And it wasn't that worth. No more sakae for me. I rather eat ramen.
We both ordered Chicken Cordon Bleu at Secret Recipe. Why? Simple. Cos got cheese! A hellotta cheese, in fact!
It's supposed to come with fries, but I had mine changed to rice cos I wanted to eat more. Haha my appetite has grown these days. I ate more than my boy, but my weight is dropping. Any idea why??? Freaks me out!
By the way, can you see the cheese flowing out from where I cut it?
No?
See it clearly!
It's just amazing how the cheese flows non-stop!
I kinda got sick of eating cheese n cheese. Haha now I'm craving for something really spicy. Like the BBQ sting ray my sis or dad (I can't remember) bought back. It's so damn spicy my mum was complaining. Usually adults can stand the spiciness, but my mum was like "ssszzz.. wah so hot! ssssssssszzz... *cough* wah lau!" Oh yum!
Just look at the amount of chilli on top! Mouth watering yet??
I can't remember who finished it. It's really delicious and erm... red.
Not forgetting desserts. Always finish up with a warm brownie out from the microwave and a scoop of ice cream on top.
Totally home made. Nah, not really. Brownie and ice cream not home-made. I just prepared it myself. Yummy but sinful...
That's all. Want brownies? I still have a whole box of it!
